The Role:

Detego Global seeks an experienced Digital Forensics Area Sales Manager based in the West Coast of USA with a proven track record in sales and business development. We’re looking for a results-driven individual who thrives on challenges. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of digital forensics, cybersecurity, and software solutions, coupled with a thorough understanding of sales and business development processes and tools. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office is essential.

This dynamic role demands high performance whilst remaining adaptable to the evolving needs of the business. A professional demeanour, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a high-performance team are crucial. The position involves frequent travel to customer sites, events, and seminars across the USA, with overnight stays several times per month. You’ll also conduct webinars and demonstrations for customers and prospects.

We’re seeking candidates with a proven work ethic, high self-motivation, and a team-oriented mindset. The successful applicant should be driven and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Given the travel requirements of this role, a valid driving licence is essential.

Reports to: 

Global Sales Director

Daily/Weekly Tasks:

  • Client and prospect engagement via phone calls, site visits, presentations, product demos, emails, and sales-based activities
  • Regular account management, including check-ins, trial set-ups, and relationship-building
  • Participation in events and in-person presentations several times each month, plus regular webinars

Place of Work:  

WFH with USA travel 1-2 times per month


Basic salary (TBC based on experience) + uncapped commissions and bonuses (OTE $130K+)

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Drive increased sales revenue for the West Coast and broaden the customer base by providing cutting-edge technology to law enforcement, military, government and corporate sectors
  • Manage existing customer relationships
  • Identifying new opportunities and following up with prospective customers
  • Deliver revenue results against quarterly and annual targets
  • Support and attend varied customer meetings and exhibitions

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous sales experience or customer engagement and account management
  • Technical knowledge in digital Forensics/cybersecurity/software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Existing relationships or networks within law enforcement, military, government, corporate sectors, or the wider digital forensics community would be highly advantageous
