Built specifically with DFIR professionals in mind, Detego Detective was created as a way to support investigators by encouraging short breaks that help sustain focus during complex, multifaceted investigations. The game reflects Detego Global’s broader commitment to investigator well-being and to recognising the cognitive and emotional demands placed on those working at the front line of digital investigations. Set in a vibrant, pixelated 8-bit cityscape reminiscent of old-school arcade games, Detego Detective: Operation Data Rescue challenges players to collect red-tagged evidence, avoid false leads, and dodge data-corrupting hazards while racing against the clock. With intuitive controls and fast-paced gameplay, the game is designed for short play sessions, making it easy to fit into busy schedules.
