Detego Global, a leader in digital forensics, endpoint monitoring and case management solutions, has announced its sponsorship of the South Wales Police and Falcons Rugby teams for the 2024 season. This partnership underscores the company’s dedication to supporting law enforcement professionals and fostering community development.

The South Wales Police and Falcons Rugby teams have consistently demonstrated excellence on the field, accumulating numerous victories over the years. Detego Global is excited to support both teams as they aim to extend their winning streak throughout 2024.

Dave Kirk, the company’s founder and a passionate rugby enthusiast who played the sport during his school days, expressed his enthusiasm about the new partnership: “At Detego Global, giving back is fundamental to who we are. With our rich history of delivering pioneering investigative technology to law enforcement, we’re excited to extend our support further. We aim to broaden our engagement with the law enforcement community by launching impactful initiatives like this.”

He added, “Rugby holds a special place in our family; it’s a sport my wife and I deeply cherish. It’s gratifying to support the sport that resonates closely with us. Rugby’s discipline and respect reflect Detego Global’s core values, making this partnership not just a sponsorship but a personal honour.”

This year, the Detego Case Manager solution will take the spotlight as the official sponsor, with the solution’s logo featured on the back of the teams’ rugby kits.

Detego Case Manager offers a comprehensive platform for law enforcement agencies. It streamlines investigation management, risk assessment, evidence handling and compliance.

The support for the rugby teams is integral to Detego Global’s “Progress Through Purpose” initiative, a key element of the company’s CSR strategy. Beyond sponsoring police rugby teams, Detego Global has extended its support to various non-profits, including Pilgrim Bandits, a charity that helps injured servicemen and women live life to the fullest.

Andy Lister, Managing Director of Detego Global, said: “We are privileged to deepen our relationship with the law enforcement community via our partnership with the South Wales Police and Falcons Rugby teams. Our company commitment, ethos and people go beyond supplying technological solutions; we firmly believe in always going further for those safeguarding our communities.
